Encore tracks a critical user journey — login, checkout, account creation — as a first-class Backstage entity, with one scorecard across every layer that matters. One flow definition, no cross-referencing multiple dashboards mid-incident.
Built as an open-core Backstage plugin: the entity model, scorecard view, and fact producers are Apache 2.0, matching the license Backstage itself uses. What's here today is real, standalone value — a Playwright producer and a Synthetics canary both write to a shared Postgres fact store, surfaced live on the entity's own catalog page.
